1. What’s the Difference Between Licensing and Franchising?

The choice between Licensing and Franchising boils down to whether you want a turnkey business and pay royalty fees (a franchise), or a business Free of restrictions, turnkey, and control with no royalty fees. Secret Squirrel007 does not collect royalty fees.

 

Secret Squirrel 007 wishes to have our Licensees operate their own business on their own schedule and marketing strategy. As the licensor, Secret Squirrel 007 supports our licensees so they may operate turnkey. We offer free business and marketing strategy, as well as technician training. We want our Licensees to know what we know. Secret Squirrel 007 is very fair with transparency with Licensees. We make it very easy. This is not a difficult service business to operate.

 

As a licensed partner, you keep 100% of your money. There are no royalties. You pay the yearly fee for licensing and that's it. Go make as much as you can.

​2. Do I need to purchase equipment?

Yes. You’ll need to purchase your own TSCM equipment and you can start for as little as $1,300.00. We have the best inexpensive equipment companies available for you to choose from. We don't receive a referral fee or commission. We’ve used several pieces of equipment over the past years and know what's the most accurate and affordable spy detection equipment. We will put you in direct contact with the retailer.

3. Do we need uniforms?

No. This is up to you. On most jobs, technicians wear our standard black polo shirts with the Secret Squirrel 007 logo.

4. How much revenue can I expect each month?

That’s up to you! You have the freedom and flexibility to decide how much time want to invest. Your revenue depends on the number of accounts you have. What we can say is that we've profited many times past our initial investment and we are growing. With the tremendous amount of target markets, margins, and scalability, it may only take a few accounts to be profitable. One account may pay for your licensee fee for the year.

This is a new business model. Spy camera detection is a very rare business. Growth, expansion, verticle options, market, and scalability all have traction.

The founder and owner of Secret Squirrel 007, Stephen Sanzeri is a former police officer, bail bondsman, bounty hunter, PI, and published author, as well as an entrepreneur who has owned a Gold's Gym, country club, used car lot, a bar and two restaurants. Mr. Sanzeri is a visionary and is very passionate about Secret Squirrel 007 and you, his partners.​

5. Do I need business experience?

Not at all. Secret Squirrel 007 support team is available and is included with all licensee development plans and will teach you skills you’ll need to service your accounts and run your business. We are in business together and obligated in keeping our good name and customer service.

 

6. Do I need to find my own accounts?

Yes, you do. But Secret Squirrel 007 will assist with leads and marketing strategy. Our mission includes marketing licensing development and we only want you to be successful.

7. Territorial Rights

Licenses are exclusive to specific areas. Secret Squirrel 007 is offering 3 types of licenses. State, Regional and International. Each license is exclusive to their assigned demographic area - but may service accounts out of their territory. We are only offering 155 licenses in the US, and 52 Internationally.

State License

The licensee/business owner may operate in every portion, county, city, town, and jurisdiction of that state. There may be more than one licensee per state.

​

Regional License

The licensee/business owner may operate within a pre-selected regional area of the United States with a limited number of states and jurisdictions. The licensee/business owner may operate within all these regional states and jurisdictions without limitations where they are operating their license. There may be more than one licensee per Regional area.

International License

We looked at countries that are expected to cooperate and arrived at 31. These countries have experienced spy camera intrusions. They are familiar with the problem. This market is wide open. The licensee/business owner may operate within a pre-selected international area with a limited number of jurisdictions. The licensee/business owner may operate within all these international jurisdictions without limitations if the personal sphere of influence and networking prevail. There may be more than one licensee per International country or area.

 

Secret Squirrel 007 is very mindful not to saturate markets and areas nor to interfere with your business. 

Secret Squirrel 007 is a family that truly believes in what we are doing. From time-to-time Licensees may wish to reciprocate with another Licensee for the advantage of both of you.

8. Can I hire spy camera technicians in other states?

Yes. You may hire anyone you want in any area.

9. Will Secret Squirrel 007 limit licenses and ownership?

Yes, we have. We are not greedy. There is a tremendous amount of business out there and we are not experiencing any competition. At this time we have limited the three types of licenses to 155 in the US, and 52 Licenses Internationally. We want to make certain there is plenty of business out there for all of you.

10. Can I keep my full-time job?

You sure can. You decide how much time you want to spend on your business.

11. Do you do background checks?

           Yes, we do! But don't worry if you have not been convicted of:

• Child Pornography

• Indecent Exposure

• Rape

• Statutory Rape

• Sexual Assault

• Spy Device intrusion

• Human Trafficking

We will not jeopardize our trademark, branding, reputation, client relationships, or other Licensees without vetting Licensees. Other than the listed above crimes, other misdemeanor and felony arrests or convictions are not considered any reason for disqualification of receiving a Secret Squirrel 007 license.

12. How do I get started?

13. What do I receive when I sign on as a Secret Squirrel 007 Licensee?

Along with your territory, we offer marketing support, computer technology, and training. You will also receive the Secret Squirrel 007 licensee development starter kit which includes: 2 Secret Squirrel 077 (embroidered) black polo shirts, 250 business cards, 250 3” x 5” postcards, 100 refrigerator magnets, 100 return labels, 100 black envelopes, and 3" x 5" notepad with logo (250 pgs). This is a $760 value. We want to get you started in the right direction.

14. Do I have to Re-License every year?

No. You can relinquish your license, territory, and proprietorship at any time with 30 days written notice. You will need to surrender your client list. But you have the option to Re-License each year.

15. Are there Trade Secrets involved or proprietary information to protect?

Yes. We need to protect what we know to the best of our ability. You need to protect your investment. Moreover, anyone can do what we do but not at our level of service, organization, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Mom and Pop spy camera detection businesses cannot compete with our national presence. The Secret Squirrel 007 team's reputation for excellence stands alone. Our web presence and branding cannot be compared.

16. Is there a Covenant Not To Compete

Yes. Licensees agree to exclusively participate only as a licensee of Secret Squirrel 007 during the time licensee is valid, and the licensee is operating spy camera and device detection services, and similar services related to such businesses. Upon the cease and non-renewal of a licensee, the former licensee may not invest, enter into or operate a spy camera and device detection service or business for a period of 3 years anywhere in the United States or Internationally.

 

Covenant Not To Compete also includes employees, family or relatives, neighbors, friends, acquaintances, influencers, or whoever was informed, privileged, or educated about the licensee's business operations, clients, or finances.
